It is impossible to travel on a cycle from Clifford's Tower to the other side of Skeldergate Bridge, without going around the entire Fishergate Gyratory - a really unpleasant and unnecessarily long experience. The alternative is to push your cycle over the bridge using narrow pavements and being hemmed in by barriers: impossible for people with limited mobility, or non-standard cycles.
