Improve Non-Motorised User connectivity by providing a quieter and safer on-road route along Fairmead Road, Claypit Hill, Paul’s Nursery Road and Wake Road, parallel to the A104 Epping New Road.
* From the existing off-road section outside of The Warren, the route could head off at an acute angle on-road north-west along Fairmead Road towards High Beach/Beech and Claypit Hill.
* The scheme could then head on-road in a north-easterly direction from Claypit Hill along Paul’s Nursery Road and Wake
Road towards The Wake Arms Roundabout.
* At the junction of Wake Road and the A121 Woodridden Hill, potentially create an off- road section of shared-use footway/cycleway alongside the westbound carriageway of the A121, linking together the Wake Road and Epping New Road cycle routes, and improving access from these routes to the restaurant and fuel station.
